🧭 Family Compass
A private workspace for a family choosing a school together. Not a ranking site — there is no score, no percentage, no winner. It helps you figure out which school fits your kid, starting from what each of you actually values.
How it works
Kids swipe through 45 cards written in kid language; adults get the full 104-card deck. Gut reactions, about 8–15 minutes. Each person gets a map of nine themes, ordered by what landed closest to their center.
You can’t see anyone else’s map until you’ve finished your own — parents included. It’s much easier to know what you think before you know what everyone else thinks.
Add the schools you’re considering. Everyone writes their own notes, side by side — never merged. The compass lines up what your kid said matters against what each school seems to offer, so the conversation is about specific trade-offs instead of which school is “best.”
Who it’s for
One parent signs up and adds the rest of the family — kids sign in with a family code and a PIN, no email needed. Everything your family writes is private to your family.
